What is Finward Foundation

Finward Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on financial education. It is developing learning experiences for young people, families, people preparing for retirement and business owners across the United States.

Are programs available now

Our first programs are in development. You can explore the learning areas, express interest or inquire about a future workshop. Confirmed dates, formats and participation details will be published as programs become available.

Who can participate

The learning areas are designed for different audiences. Youth programs will involve parents, caregivers, educators or authorized organizations. Each confirmed program will explain who it serves and any participation requirements.

Do I need previous financial knowledge

No prior financial education is required to express interest. Introductory programs will begin with basic concepts, and the description of each confirmed session will explain its level.

Will workshops be free

Pricing and any sponsored access will be stated for each confirmed program. We are exploring ways to make financial learning accessible; we have not yet published a program fee schedule.

Can Finward prepare my tax return or personal financial plan

These learning programs provide general education. They do not prepare a tax return, manage accounts or replace individualized advice. A qualified professional should review decisions involving your own tax, legal, investment or insurance circumstances.

Why does the foundation include IUL education

IUL is a financial topic people may encounter when discussing life insurance. Education can help them understand the policy's purpose, costs, limitations and alternatives. Including the topic does not mean it is appropriate for everyone.

Is an executive bonus plan a retirement plan

An insurance-based executive bonus arrangement is distinct from a qualified retirement plan. Its terms, compensation treatment and policy obligations need to be understood separately.

Can our school or organization request a workshop

Yes. Submit an inquiry with your audience, topic, location and preferred timing. We will discuss feasibility before confirming a session.

Does expressing interest enroll me in a program

No. An interest form helps us understand demand. Enrollment will use a separate registration process once a program is confirmed.
